About Dario
My name is Dario, I am 25 years old and I have been a philosopher since I was seven, when I began to notice that I could think... about my own thoughts. From that moment on, I have never stopped researching and questioning each of the certainties that human beings take far too often for granted without proper justification: is there really an objective morality? Does God really exist? How do I know that the outside world doesn't disappear when I don't see it?
Today I made my passion into a job. I have been teaching philosophy privately since the early years of university and have also had teaching experience in high schools and at King's College University (London).
With my students I like (and I think it is right) to create a pleasant relationship, without forgetting that we are working for an educational purpose and we are not having a beer with friends. After that, we can always keep in touch outside of class hours!

My teaching method combines my natural predisposition to debate and questioning with the most recent developments in pedagogical studies at the academic level. A lesson with me does not consist in reading and repeating to exhaustion phrases, dates, places, events towards which you do not feel the slightest interest. Obviously, some notions must be learned to prevent talking nonsense, but the focus of learning lies in understanding the reason and value of a philosophical argument or a historical fact that, apparently, has no connection with the present. I grant you that, together, we will really understand why certain intellectuals of the Eighteenth century are still studied today and why we should be interested in the Battle of Hastings.
Of course, no one is obliged to find these themes of interest, but deep down I think that with the right stimuli anyone can grasp their profound value. You will see (as all pedagogical studies show) that in this way you will learn much better and much sooner what is written in the manual, too. As proof of this I can bring you my personal experience: I have never received a school debt in high school and I have never failed an exam in 5 years of Bachelor's and Specialization, concluding with a nice First-Class Honours while hanging out with friends every night, even before an exam!
My lessons are aimed at all students of Secondary Schools of History and / or Philosophy. I am also available to follow university students of Philosophy for exams related to the subject (especially theoretical philosophy courses such as Epistemology, Aesthetics, Theoretical Philosophy, Hermeneutics ...) or for Thesis drafts. I don't have preferences for different kinds of students: whether you consider yourself talented or weak on the subjects we will study together, my support will be unchanged :)
