About Maggie
I have experience with students in multiple populations, working with advanced placement students, mainstream students, and those with IEPs and learning disabilities or processing delays. This array of experience aids me in meeting students where they are and creating realistic, attainable goals for students based on what they need. I pride myself in my ability to differentiate curriculum as a means of meeting the needs of the individual. My lessons are a mixture of instruction, modeling, and practice. I provide detailed but simplified instruction to concepts, show and explain examples, and then create an environment for practice along with real-time feedback. My goal is to not only teach you, but also allow you to feel things out for yourself while receiving feedback and suggestions as well as examples of how to improve in the areas that need work, teaching through practice rather than just through instruction.
