About Carrie

Teaching is my passion. My life isn't quite complete without working with students. My career has spanned from 9-12th grades and included remedial, core, pre-AP, and AP courses. I've taught in public and private sectors in both California and Texas and am currently working with a charter school in California.

About the lesson

My teaching methods revolve around the needs of my individual students or class. Sometimes you have to go backward before moving forward. I am a proponent of close reading, revising, and editing. I also believe in quality verses quantity.
