About Nahima

As a graduate in Biomedical Science, I have always had a deep interest in my subject and enjoy the rewards of imparting the knowledge I have acquired through teaching. Teaching allows me to use my excellent communication skills and subject knowledge to empower young people to be the best version of themselves and allows me to ignite the curiosity in them.

I am extremely friendly and understand the importance of this approach in ensuring that students can feel confident to share any struggles they may come across.

About the lesson

I am confident in teaching a range of exam boards spanning the science curriculum, which includes AQA, Edexcel and OCR.
I try to embed as much exam practice into my teaching and help students to break down the question for easy comprehension. I provide key exam tips, strategies and the necessary tools to tackle any question or scenario.

My teaching is engaging, yet I do not compromise getting through the KS3/4 syllabus at a good pace. I regularly moderate exam papers as apart of my current job as a science teacher, so I have an understanding of what the examiner is looking for.
