About Kate
I am a third-year law student with an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University, where I majored in Management and minored in Psychology. My academic background has shaped how I approach learning and task management, particularly through my undergraduate thesis, which explored neurodiversity in the workplace and examined different ways individuals approach complex tasks and problem-solving.
Over the past six years, I have worked one-on-one with students to review workloads, prioritize competing demands, and develop practical systems for staying organized and on track. Throughout both my undergraduate degree and law school, I have also worked as a contracted note-taker, strengthening my ability to break down complex material into clear, structured frameworks.
I believe there is no one-size-fits-all strategy for academic success. My goal is to help students identify approaches that work for their unique strengths and build skills that support them long-term.

I offer tutoring and academic coaching with a specific focus on executive function skills, including planning, organization, time management, and task initiation. My approach goes beyond subject-specific support to help students build sustainable systems for managing their workload and developing long-term habits.
I work with university students balancing heavy and competing demands, high school students preparing for post-secondary transitions, and individuals with ADHD or other executive function challenges who want practical strategies for maintaining motivation and completing tasks. Together, we map out weekly plans, break assignments into manageable steps, and create structured routines that support academic success across all subjects.
I also support students who are considering law school in Canada. I provide general LSAT study guidance, help students think strategically about test preparation, and offer detailed feedback on personal statements to ensure their applications are clear, compelling, and authentic. Beyond the application itself, I work with students to think through important considerations before attending law school — including workload expectations, financial planning, and aligning career goals with the right program — so they can make informed and confident decisions about their next steps.
