About Deidra
I am a senior at Loyola University Maryland doing a double major. I was raised in Jamaica where I was introduced to Spanish. I have spent years studying Spanish and I have an unending appreciation for the language and its culture.

Teaching methods will include the use of technology, visual aid as well as fun activities to make understanding the language easier. In a typical lesson, we would begin by speaking about our day in English, reviewing what we know or have learned, a vocabulary lesson, and a fun activity to cement the day's teachings. I am very patient and understand that learning a new language is difficult, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be enjoyable. I would like to teach beginner-friendly lessons to anyone.
