About Young
Do you ever wonder how your fingers might translate the music you hear inside your mind? Mastering sight playing and hand independence relies on cultivating an inner ear, which I have refined over 13 years of teaching. Music theory, dynamics, and expression become more than just marks on a page when you understand the mechanics of pedaling and memorization.
Working from my home studio, I merge the strict standards of the San Francisco Conservatory with a focus on accompaniment skills. It is truly rewarding to see students aged 6 through adult discover the joy of playing with genuine musical intelligence.
