About Prahlad

I'm a student in Sixth Form right now, having just finished GCSEs. As a prefect at my school responsible for academic and sporting excellence of the younger kids, I've spent a lot of time giving presentations to younger classes (for example, I gave one a month ago about the importance of revision, to Year 7) as well as directly mentoring students in 1-on-1 sessions.

As a straight 9s student, I have an extremely efficient approach towards my work that both makes sure I get the most out of my revision as well as ensures I have some 'me' time to clear my head and do the things I enjoy, like playing sports - at my school, I am currently school captain for cricket as well as house captain for a range of other sports. I find going out and being active is one of the best ways to relieve tension and stress during those periods of 'extreme study' before an exam.

As a fellow student in secondary school, I am completely familiar with any questions my students may have. I hope you can take the time to consider me as an option, and I wish you all the best for your studies regardless whether you are in GCSE year or not.

About the lesson

I take a holistic approach towards tutoring that is patient, but also seeks to push the boundaries of the students I teach.

I know firsthand how hard you need to work for GCSEs, and how they will open many doors for you in the future. I will also be sure to pass that knowledge onto my students.

I also know how stressful they can be, and will do my utmost to make sure my students have a positive approach to their studies that both looks after their mental health and discourages them from 'last-minute revision', which can be incredibly stressful (as I full well know!) .

Above all, I understand how important it is to have a teacher who can explain those complicated theories or concepts such as those you will find in organic chemistry or maths, and I will make sure that my students don't give up before fully grasping those concepts.

Typical lessons will last around an hour, but I am open to longer if contacted/requested for it and it fits in my schedule.

My lessons are for everyone who is currently studying towards their GCSEs or lower (preferably in secondary school, or towards the end of primary school).
