About Kavaljeet
I recently finished my volunteering reading tutor role with year 5 students at Dormers Wells Junior School. This role allowed me to enhance my communication and understanding skills, enriching my patience with younger students as this will benefit me in the future as I would like to go into a career path of child psychology and I am very passionate about aiding pupils to reach their educational potential.

As my previous role of a reading tutor I have enhanced my organisation skills of preparing plans on what to do each session. I would ensure that my tutees are aware of their weak areas and I would plan each lesson according to my tutees' requirements, altering my teaching techniques to whatever suits my three best, making them aware at every stage and taking feedback to improve upcoming sessions.
