About Raluca Cristiana

Hi, I’m Raluca, and I know from experience that learning English can sometimes feel overwhelming. But with the right support, it becomes something you can truly enjoy. As someone who is fluent in both English and Romanian, I understand what it’s like to learn a language from scratch, and I bring that understanding into every lesson I teach. I’m currently studying law at university, which has given me strong skills in writing, critical thinking, and clear communication. All of which I love passing on to my students. Alongside my studies, I’ve worked in different roles where communication was key, from content creation to customer service, so I know how important it is to feel confident expressing yourself. My lessons are usually 60 minutes and tailored to you. Sometimes we’ll focus on grammar and structure, other times on conversation and pronunciation, and often a mix of both. I like to keep sessions encouraging, interactive, and flexible, so you always feel comfortable asking questions and learning at your own pace.

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to each individual’s needs. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and goal-focused. I combine clear explanations with practical exercises, conversation practice, and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable and effective. I also give regular feedback so students can see their progress and stay motivated. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student’s goals. During the lesson, I usually start with a warm-up activity, then focus on new material (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or writing), followed by practice and review. I have experience tutoring students of different ages. Whether you are learning English for school, exams (GCSE), or simply to improve everyday communication, I can tailor the lessons to suit you. My aim is always to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence with their English.
