About Jonathon
I have been in the education industry for 27 years. I have worked as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, program coordinator, and data analyst. I understand that every student is different, in fact for 5 years, I worked in diverse school settings. So I really understand different learning styles. It is important to me that students and I have a good relationship, because that is where the real work of learning gets done. Students will learn from you best if you have a good relationship, they will learn if you have a poor relationship, but they will not learn if they have no relationship.

I understand that all students are in different places in their learning journey. I work to meet each student where they are and turn help them develop the smiles they need to advance. If one approach isn’t working, then we pivot and try something else. One size doesn’t fit all and that’s why people hire tutors.
