About John

I've been working with software for over ten years. I've worked on shiny websites in modern web languages and hidden "backend" applications that had to scale to massive sizes. During that time I've had the opportunity to use my knowledge at large corporations, tiny startups, and my own freelancing. During that time I've had the opportunity to apply my own education, as well as self-teach the things they don't teach you in school. I would love to share my knowledge with you!

About the lesson

- Computer Science is a wide and complex field, so I tailor my tutoring to your needs.
- Typically we will have an initial meet to see where you are, where you want to be, and whether we're a good fit. Depending on your needs our time can be as simple as debugging sessions or as sophisticated as learning a new language.
- My superpower is to take complex things and break them down into simple pieces.

Perfect! I agree that John does have a superpower in breaking down complex things into simpler terms for me to understand. This is my first time using tutoring services besides the free ones my schools offer. I'm sure his experience, knowledge, and tutoring style would be a great fit for anyone.
