About Ida

Patience hums through the room as we untangle a complex riff. The smell of old wood and fresh strings fills the space while we work. My teaching style is playful and tactile, focused on solid progress rather than rushing.

Over 11 years, I have seen many players find their footing. I teach fingerpicking, barre chords, improvisation, soloing, and reading sheet music.

We also cover maintenance, tabs, lead guitar, chord transitions, acoustic technique, scales, and modes. Sometimes we go slow. Strategic spacing ensures that what you learn stays with you.

Have you ever wanted to play that song you just heard on the radio? Starting here means turning your favorite records into simplified arrangements that you can actually play.

I use the discipline of a Nashville session player to keep our momentum steady. My 11 years of playing informs how I break down difficult movements into manageable parts.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt, which helps me explain the mechanics of sound. We revisit ideas until they become second nature. You will leave the room with a real result. I deliver 10.0 quality results every time.
