About Gohar

I’m a soon-to-be graduate with degrees in Accounting and Business Analytics, and I’m passionate about helping students succeed in math. I specialize in tutoring algebra and other math courses for elementary, middle, and high school students. Throughout my time in university, I’ve held leadership roles that helped me develop strong communication and problem-solving skills—key strengths I use to make math easier to understand for my students. In high school, I tutored classmates and neighbors, and I loved seeing their confidence grow as they grasped difficult concepts. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs and pace. My goal is to make math less intimidating, helping students not only improve their grades but also develop a lasting understanding of the material. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, running, working out, and shopping in my free time. I’m excited to work with students and help them achieve their academic goals!

About the lesson

I’m a patient and reliable tutor who focuses on making complex topics easy to understand. As a soon-to-be graduate with degrees in Professional Accountancy and Business Analytics, and with two accounting internships under my belt, I bring a strong academic foundation and real-world experience to every session. I’ve held multiple leadership roles throughout university, which helped me develop excellent communication and problem-solving skills—key strengths that I bring into my teaching.

I also have experience tutoring classmates and neighbors back in high school, which sparked my passion for helping others learn. I understand that every student learns differently, so I always take the time to tailor my approach to each individual’s needs, pace, and goals. Whether you’re struggling with the basics or looking to strengthen your understanding, I’m here to support you with clear explanations, encouragement, and personalized strategies.
