About Stephanie
Hi! I’m a Miami native from a proud family of immigrants, and I grew up navigating multiple languages and cultures—Spanish is my first language, English my dominant one, and I’m conversational in Japanese. My passion for language goes hand in hand with my love for psychology and philosophy. I believe that multilingualism is more than just a skill—it’s a bridge that connects people and deepens understanding. I spent four amazing years teaching at an international school in Japan, where I combined my TEFL certification with a playful, culturally sensitive approach to language learning. I’ve also tutored Spanish privately, helping students of all ages feel more confident and curious. I’m currently finishing my Master’s in Psychology, with a focus on mental health and how communication across cultures can heal, connect, and empower us. Outside of teaching, I’m an anime enthusiast and collector—so don’t be surprised if a reference or two makes its way into our lessons!
