About Sophie
I’m Sophie
A key passion of mine is teaching, especially younger children, as someone who struggled in school during primary school years and found having a tutor to be especially helpful, I would love to pass that experience on and help children gain confidence in something they may struggle at, I wholeheartedly believe that finding confidence in something helps find a better understanding of the subject and gives a child a boost with their education. I personally have struggled with gaining confidence around school, I believe I could help a child find their confidence academically. I am currently studying to become a primary school teacher and believe tutoring would be something that could help boost my experience and knowledge to further my career.

I work in ways that benefit the child and will become quickly aware of their learning style. I am able to help children understand a topic in a way that is understandable for them. I’m currently studying a BA Education with English in University, meaning my availability may be more flexible.
I also hold 3 A levels in English literature and Advanced Health and Social Care with AAB grades.
I would be comfortable tutoring a child of any age up to GCSE and A level and can hold sessions up to 2 hours.
