About Dorcas
Hello, my name is Dorcas! I’m a sophomore majoring in Biochemistry with minors in Mathematics and Writing. My academic journey is complemented by my active role in the university’s writing lab and my position as a peer mentor, where I help students refine their writing skills and overcome academic challenges.
In the writing lab, I assist students from diverse disciplines in crafting well structured essays, enhancing clarity and improving their overall writing technique.
As a peer mentor, I guide students through their academic hurdles offering support and strategies for success. This role has strengthened my communication skills and deepened my understanding of the challenges students face, allowing me to offer empathetic and constructive assistance.
