About Anya
I love languages because of the communication skills they unlock — being able to connect with people, express yourself and understand different cultures.
I know that learning a language can sometimes feel daunting, especially when you’re faced with unfamiliar grammar, vocabulary or the pressure of speaking. I want to help students overcome that fear and build the confidence to communicate, rather than worrying about making mistakes.
Most importantly, I want to inspire others to discover the enjoyment of languages and to see them not just as a subject to study, but as a skill that can open up so many possibilities.
Outside of my studies, I love art and music. I enjoy being creative and exploring different forms of artistic expression, and I think this complements my love of languages, as both allow you to communicate ideas and emotions in different ways.

I’m a Cambridge student offering friendly, supportive tutoring in Latin and Spanish.
I achieved 9s at GCSE and As at A Level, and I’ve also helped GCSE students prepare for their Spanish oral exams. Through my own experience studying both languages, I’ve developed a strong understanding of grammar and vocabulary, as well as a large collection of resources, notes and revision techniques that I’m happy to share with my students.
I’m kind, patient and encouraging, and I want to help students not only improve their grades and feel more confident in exams, but also develop a genuine love of languages. I can tailor lessons to each student’s needs, whether that’s building foundations, strengthening grammar and vocabulary, preparing for exams or practising speaking.
I’d love to help you or your child become more confident and enthusiastic about Latin or Spanish!
