About James
I have been giving Spanish lessons for 4 years now and have taught students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. In the 4 years that I have taught Spanish I have worked with well over 1,000 students and students that have worked with me have received A's in their Spanish classes. They are also pleasantly surprised and proud of how well they can converse in Spanish when they travel to other Spanish-speaking countries.

I have taught Spanish to students in Kindergarten all the way up to 12th grade. My techniques for teaching include visually presenting students with vocabulary words, having them sound out and pronounce the words and use context clues to figure out what the words mean. Once they've had a considerable amount of practice with the vocabulary and have been accessed on it, I then introduce them to grammar and have them look for cognates in the verbs to figure out what they mean and have them practice conjugating the verbs. Once they've been assessed on their grammar, I then give them the opportunity to combine the vocabulary and grammar they have learned into a conversation or skit that they create with a partner and then deliver in front of the class. This is the perfect way for them to demonstrate mastery of vocabulary and grammar in a real-world scenario they might find themselves in if they were to travel to a Spanish-speaking country.
