About Krysten Mariann
From the minute I first helped a student find their voice through writing, I knew I wanted to be an English teacher—not just to perfect grammar points and expand vocabulary, but to spark curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity in every student I meet. I want more people to get in touch with and experience the world through English. I view language learning as a bridge that connects cultures, an avenue for exchanging stories, ideas, and experiences. With my journalism degree, my 120-hour TEFL certification, and my 5+ years of experience teaching English to students of diverse levels, age groups, and nationalities, I’ve learned that teaching English is more than literary devices or exam prep—it’s about connection, clarity, and the courage to express ideas. I take pride in involving students in their learning process to guarantee a dynamic learning experience, where my students are able to confidently apply what they’ve learned in their daily life. I believe these moments—where students are equipped and empowered—are at the heart of great teaching.

In my 5+ years of teaching, I’ve had the opportunity to help young and adult learners improve their English in both traditional classroom settings and online environments.
️ At present, I travel full-time and teach English to students from all around the world—Ukraine, Poland, and Kazakhstan.
I specialize in conducting highly personalized classes tailored specifically to my students’ personal goals, interests, and areas for improvement.
My goal for each lesson is to make sure my student’s heart and mind
are fully in our session, and I am able to achieve this by putting my
students’ objectives at the core of my work.
