About Rachel
As a tutor, I take my role and responsibilities very seriously. I am committed to maintaining a high level of professionalism in every session by being prepared, organized, punctual, and respectful of each student's time and goals. I create structured lesson plans that are tailored to individual learning needs while also aligning with the academic standards. You can feel confident knowing that I approach each lesson with care, patience, and integrity. My approach is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I believe that every child learns differently, so I take my time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, and learning style. In reading, I focus on building strong comprehension skills, vocabulary, and confidence through guided practice and meaningful discussion. In math, I like to break down concepts into simple, meaningful steps and use real-life examples to make learning relatable and to make connections. I encourage any questions and celebrate any victories no matter the size. I share my knowledge by modeling strategies, providing clear explanations, and creating a positive environment where students feel safe to grow and succeed.
