About Joyce
As an educator, I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Reading for recreation and knowledge has allowed me to achieve most of my academic and life goals. Reading well will allow you to communicate with various groups of people in your life. Communication includes skills in reading comprehension, oral reading ability, and writing skills allowing you to get your ideas understood by all you encounter in your daily life.

As a tutor, your level of skills will need to be assessed and analyzed. Your level of motivation will also need to be determined and discussed, as you and I will have to form a partnership to achieve your academic goals. Our lessons will include reviewing your current school assignments and supplementary tutor-given tasks to reinforce skills you have and to help you learn the next-level skills. A goal at all times is to get the student to the level of self-evaluation, during note-taking, writing skills, and verbal presentation skills.
