About Stephanie
Strumming often feels forced when you try to hit every string with equal weight at the same time. Focusing on the space between the beats usually yields a much smoother sound than trying to perfect your grip. I draw on 13 years of experience in the Montreal Symphony Orchestra to help you translate complex theory into simple acoustic movements.
My BMus from the Toronto Faculty of Music informs how I break down difficult passages. You are welcome to book a free trial session to assess your starting level. I keep the instruction clear and straightforward.
