About Theodore
A&P is a difficult topic to master. It is ever changing, wildly extensive, and requires a deep understanding of the laws that our bodies follow to function in the ways that they do.
I love learning about the body and constantly asking "why?".

- "How does sympathetic stimulation of the bronchioles result in bronchodilation"
-"What are the direct mechanisms that suppress the immune system during times of heightened stress?"
The more questions we ask the stronger our understanding becomes and ultimately we can achieve a strong working understanding of human anatomy/physiology.

When learning a new topic/system it is essential to understand the "why". My goal is to not only give students the information that they need to succeed in their classes but to expand on that information in order to allow them to apply what they know when evaluating new systems/topics. I teach college level A&P courses as well as help in MCAT prep for those specific sections. Lesson plans can be flexible and ultimately is up to the student and how they best learn. Lesson plans can include but are not limited to: being quizzed, lecture style, conversational and also general study tips.
Part of my journey of a teacher has been learning about and understanding the various ways students learn as well as the specific techniques that have been proven to increase retention rates when it comes to the STEM field.
