About Ali

My teaching journey has mainly taken place in the great state of Texas, where I have taught in various locations for over 23 years. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Texas Christian University and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. I am also certified as a Generalist for grades 1-8, in ESL for grades 1-8, and in Biology for grades 1-8. Additionally, I have specialized training (to become a CALT) in helping students with dyslexia.

About the lesson

Hi my name is Ali and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! With 23 years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with learners of all ages. My passion for education and dedication to helping students reach their full potential has led me to teach subjects ranging from 1st to 6th grade, including subjects such as reading, math, writing, dyslexia, and biology. My approach to teaching is rooted in making learning fun and engaging for my students.
