About Hilmare
I am a 23-year-old teacher who knows firsthand what it feels like to struggle in school with ADHD and Dyslexia. Every day was a challenge, but those challenges shaped me into someone who refuses to let students feel alone in their learning journey.
Because I’ve lived it, I understand the frustration, the self-doubt, and the determination it takes to keep going. My mission is to turn those struggles into supportive strategies that help students not only understand their work but also memorize it with confidence.
I use methods like multi-sensory learning, chunking information, and visual aids tools that I wish I had when I was younger. These approaches make lessons engaging, reduce overwhelm, and give students practical ways to succeed.

Students with ADHD and Dyslexia often struggle not because they lack ability, but because traditional methods don’t match how their brains process information. My work focuses on bridging that gap by using strategies proven to help them thrive:
- Multi‑sensory learning
Lessons combine visual, auditory, and tactile elements so students engage more than one sense at a time. This strengthens memory and makes abstract concepts concrete.
- Chunking information
Breaking material into small, manageable parts reduces overwhelm and helps students focus on one step at a time.
- Visual aids and color coding
Diagrams, charts, and color highlights guide attention and create mental “anchors” that are easier to recall later.
- Active recall and repetition
Instead of passive reading, students practice retrieving information regularly, which strengthens long‑term memory.
- Movement and breaks
Short bursts of physical activity or scheduled pauses help reset focus and prevent fatigue.
- Assistive technology
Tools like text‑to‑speech, audiobooks, and dyslexia‑friendly fonts make reading and comprehension smoother.
