About JOSE
I am a music teacher with an emphasis on electric guitar from the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, and I am currently a candidate for a master's degree in Contemporary Composition from the Royal Conservatory of Liege (Belgium). Simultaneously to my career as a guitarist and composer in different musical groups in Colombia and Belgium, I have also worked in music teaching developing multiple projects with children, youth and adults that involve formats such as rock bands, wind bands, string instruments, wind and percussion.

The class will always be focused on the objective of each student, depending on their objective, we can cover different techniques, concepts and others. The idea is that the student can enjoy music and its instrument, always taking into account where to go. In the classroom, we can cover two types of musical writing on the guitar, such as the tablature, the notes on the staff and all the musical theory that this requires. We can also study different musical genres, pop, rock, metal, blues, etc. It all depends on the student's choice.
