About Mike
--> Teaching, coaching, and facilitating 4 periods of concepts related to S.T.E.M. practices (science - emphasis 'Physics').
--> Aspects of curriculum are based on inquiry-based pedagogy and hands-on (empirical) sessions.
--> Students are provided with critical-thinking skills, iterative-thought decision making techniques, and self-efficacy training assessments.
--> Standards addressed in course-load included are NGSS, CCSS, and IEEE.
--> Exposure to Arduino C++ programming and circuit analysis (as related to Physics II) is covered.
--> In each period, students are required to construct and build a modular VEX clawbot as related to the EDR curriculum (Engineering and Citizen-Scientist conditioning).
--> Facilitated Guided Group Instructional sessions for students - Chess coaching as related to higher order thinking and matrix analysis.
--> Maintained and calibrated 3-D printer for STEAM and STEM related learning activities.

I teach utilizing a lot of visual examples and real-world applications. If provided the text in advanced I am able to provide proofs and I have a lot of patience with people of all ages. In majority of my lessons, I like to develop the learner's confidence in gradually building up their self-efficacy skill towards STEM.
