About Алина

Your guide into Russian language learning journey, a native Russian speaker with four years of experience teaching English one-to-one. That experience helps me understand what it’s like to learn a language from scratch, anticipate common difficulties, and explain things clearly and patiently. I use a communicative approach, so lessons are focused on real-life Russian and practical conversation from the start. I explain grammar and vocabulary in English when needed, which is especially helpful for beginners. I prepare individualized lessons, adapt to each student’s pace and goals, and take my work seriously: I am reliable, organized, and committed to helping my students feel confident using Russian in everyday situations.

About the lesson

Everyday Russian made practical, with cultural context that helps you sound like a local.

I teach through English so explanations never leave you guessing. Lessons are built around real-life situations: meeting people, travel, work, everyday life. Culture is part of the process too, because how people actually talk, what jokes land, and why some phrases sound blunt and others polite matter just as much as the words.

The approach is communicative. Grammar is learned through real situations and speaking practice, not as isolated rules to memorize. No generic textbook course, no school-style lessons for everyone. Just practical conversation for English-speaking adults, beginner to intermediate.

Ready to use Russian in real life, not just in exercises? Book a trial lesson — we’ll start with the situations that matter to you.
