About Georgia

I am a junior in high school that has straight A's and is on the principal's list and honor roll. I take all honors classes and I'm a 3-sport athlete, which I think can help me connect with all different types of kids. I have a superstore of 32 on the ACT and I have over a year of tutoring experience. I received the award for highest grade in honors chemistry last year.

About the lesson

I love to tutor kids and it is a hope of mine to pursue education as a career. I think as a current student I connect easier with kids. I also believe one-on-one with a kid can be much less intimidating than a one-on-one with an adult, which is why I think having a younger tutor can provide a great advantage. As a student, I also have a very in-depth understanding of today's math and am very familiar with the format of work most teachers want. I also have experience working with kids with disabilities and have a particular passion for helping kids who struggle in different ways to succeed because I believe every kid is very capable of learning and deserves a fair shot even if that means they require a little extra care and attention.
