About Nia
I am a former 5th grade ELA teacher who had a lot of experience teaching. While being a teacher I noticed learning never stops and we are never too old to learn new skills and gain knowledge. I want to be that person for students to make it easier.

I focus on building conceptual understanding first, then applying that knowledge through guided practice and real-world examples. I break down complex topics into manageable steps using:
Visual aids and diagrams
Analogies that match a student’s interests
Active recall and spaced repetition for long-term retention
Encouragement of questions to build curiosity and confidence
I adapt my teaching style based on how the student learns best—whether they’re more visual, verbal, or hands-on.
