About Matthew

I'm a Physics major (with a Math minor) at Kenyon College, currently doing atmospheric science and optics research in two university labs. I don't just know physics from a textbook, I use it daily to solve real problems. I'm also a collegiate varsity athlete, which means I know what it's like to balance a demanding schedule with academics, and I teach with that same patience and structure.

About the lesson

I break concepts down conceptually first (build the intuition, then layer in the math) rather than just handing you formulas to memorize. Whether it's mechanics, E&M, thermodynamics, or exam prep, I'll meet you where you are and build a clear path forward. Relaxed teaching style, high expectations for understanding.
