I like to use both papers and technology to teach the kids as it is interactive and easier for them to learn.
Previously when working in a care home, I handled homework supervision and taught the kids that stay there on their homework, test papers, etc. Lessons are typically 2 hours with one hour split on doing paperwokr and understanding concepts and 2nd hour is used to interactive materials to teach the students to ensure that they are able to retain information
