  • What motivates you to teach & why?

When I teach, I can see the doubts being cleared in my student's head, and they'll say "Oh my! I didn't know it was this easy!!". This fills me up with joy. I just cleared a small problem in their life! I helped them understand the subject easily! All these brings utmost joy into my life :)
  • When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

As soon as I started studying the subject! It was always fun to know the deeper parts of the same, why this leads to that, all the chains, to be particular. Besides, when I teach, I can dwell into the topics even more! I will b able to find out the things that I haven't already, and clear them, before teaching, making me much more enriched in the topics as well!
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

I'd say my childhood teachers. I recently took classes for a few small kids, which made me understand how difficult it is to teach smaller children as compared to older folks. This reminds me of how arrogant child I was and how much trouble my teachers had gone to to teach me the first letters. They should have had a lot of patience and that is something I've been working on currently, and succeeding quite well too, if I may.
  • What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

See, as I mentioned earlier, I taught a few kids in Kindergartens and it was really hard at first. It was just with time, that I could get better with my patience and make them understand well.
  • In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

One should know all the aspects of the subject. If a person asks you why something happens, one should be able to make him understand the reason. This can be achieved by knowing every thread of their subject. It's easy, one just has to find out why every small detail occurs in the topic, and learning that, takes time.
  • What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

First, I'd talk to them about something else, just to cool off their head. We'll have a laugh, and then I'd ask the student what was the problem he/she met with. I'd understand why they had the problem, and I'd teach them calmly in an easy to understand manner.
  • How does someone become a Super Prof?

To become a Super Prof, one should know his subject well, he/she should be able to convey it to thee student in an easy manner so that the student understands, the student should be able to talk to the Super Prof easily so that any doubts the student faces does not go unattended, and finally, should have a lot of patience.
