About Nathan
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English from Carleton University. In my time there, I won many awards for academic and essay writing, including the Wilgar Memorial Award. I also developed and taught a creative writing program for students aged eight to fourteen. I currently attend Queen's University for teacher's college and teach English, civics, and Canadian history.

When writing essays, most people struggle with two things: generating and structuring ideas. My lessons break down these tasks into manageable steps. However, the most important aspect of my lessons is self reflection. By comparing your work to a variety of models, you will begin to develop a sense of what will make your writing stronger. This will lead you to write better first drafts, saving you time on editing.
