About Aiko

I am 17 years old and in my second year of college as a double major in theater performance and social sciences. I have always had a passion for writing, and I participated in and won a regional slam poetry competition at 14 years old. I enjoy writing essays for class as well, and editing/revising academic writing is a strong suit of mine. I have 7 siblings, so I am accustomed to working with children.

About the lesson

I love to help anyone with creative writing, from pre-k to senior, I am happy to share my experience and give constructive criticism and encouragement. When it comes to academic writing, I prefer high school freshman and younger (If you are a High school junior/senior looking for simple edits and revisions or a college student taking a general education requirement English course, I can definitely work with you!) I am easily adaptable and I take the first session to make sure the student is comfortable and I assess what learning style works best for them.

Details

Rates are $20 per hour for elementary level students. If you wish to simply send me your academic writing for revision (no face-to-face feedback, just written edits) there is a base fee of $4 and then it is $3 per page. Please cancel lessons AT LEAST 2 hours before the scheduled meeting time. Failure to meet this request will result in a $5 fee for inconvenience.
