About Carla
I am entering my last year of A-Levels and have very good experience in one to one/small group lessons.
I am willing to tutor English GCSE students and help them make the correct grammar choices, refine their technique, and boost their vocabulary. I will also assist with exam technique, following the exam board specification closely to ensure high marks.
I can also provide help with Year 9-13 application writing for super-curricular activities, as I have been successful in several of my own. These include Yale Young Global Scholars, The Lord Edmund Davies Legal Trust, and English Literature at the University of Oxford.
I gained 7A*s and 5As at GCSE, with an A* in English Language and an A in English Literature. At the moment I am currently studying English Literature, History, and Physics and am on track for Oxbridge-level grades.

I am looking to remotely tutor one on one, to truly hone in on and develop your English skill-set.
In my first lesson, we will discuss how far you have come in regards to English, what you need help with, and what you would like to achieve through my tuition. After our session, I will set a small writing piece to truly gain a sense of where I think you stand and what I can offer you.
I would like to revolve each session around the student and adapt to their needs. I am a confident believer that every person's learning style is unique and therefore must be accommodated to help that person reach their true potential.
I can teach via FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, and various other remote platforms.

£10/hour - book lessons at least a week in advance, to allow time to create a lesson plan.
Cancellation Policy:
I kindly request that you cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled session. This will allow me to offer your spot to another student. You may email me at: (concealed information)
If you give me at least 72 hours notice of your need to cancel, I will refund your session in full.
If you give me 71-24 hours, I will credit your payment toward another session.
In the event that you do not cancel with at least 24 hours notice, you will lose any payments you have already made.
