About Winnifred
Holding a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the Manhattan School of Music informs my methodical approach to guitar instruction. I work with students who need a systematic path forward, often supporting those who struggled with fragmented learning elsewhere.
My lessons cover scales and modes, improvisation, soloing, power chords, grade exam prep, strumming patterns, blues progressions, acoustic technique, and songwriting. I assign concrete tasks between sessions rather than vague reading to ensure you develop genuine fluency. It remains a genuine pleasure to watch a student finally command their instrument with total confidence.

Metronome clicks define the rhythm of our sessions as we build your technique from the ground up. I turn your specific song requests into simplified arrangements that make progress feel immediate and tangible. We avoid passive observation in favor of active, task-based practice. Clarity is the goal.
My methodology uses the same rigorous standards required for my degree to ensure you reach a 10.0 level of proficiency. I focus on the mechanics of your playing. We keep the process straightforward and manageable.
