About William

My name is William and I currently study at the University of Exeter. I have always enjoyed studying English and I have been reading a lot from a young age. Using my passion for the subject I started a course that would allow me to be certified and teach English as a foreign language. I then volunteered in Cambodia to teach English which gave me the experience of teaching in a classroom. This experience taught me how to be a better teacher myself and it is one of my fondest memories.

I look forward to teaching the aspects of English which excite me the most. I hope to be able to impart this enthusiasm to my students to help them prepare for any upcoming exams. Or indeed if any students are curious and just want to learn more with no set aim!

About the lesson

Each student has different needs and so not every lesson will be exactly the same. However, most lessons last around 40 minutes to an hour depending on the topic being covered.

Curriculums at different schools vary and so I need to be aware of what texts the student is studying in order to prepare an effective lesson.

I have had experience teaching English as a foreign language so I am used to explaining concepts about the English language. I also helped out students in lower years while I was at school.

My lessons are aimed at students from beginner all the way up to A level.
