About Annalee

I am a Xavier University student studying English in Secondary Education, aiming to become a high school English and Language Arts teacher. I enjoy writing and composition, argumentative essays, and journalism and have taken classes that relate to all skills involved in English/Language Arts. I have just started my pedagogy journey, but I have thus far been entranced by pedagogical theory, culturally responsive teaching, holistic assessment, and individualized learning.

About the lesson

- I teach with a holistic approach to a child's individual needs
- I will teach writing and composition of argumentative or personal essays by having step-by-step instruction that helps break down the writing process into approachable goals.
- I will teach ACT testing and Grammar by examining the materials given for test prep, assessing the students' knowledge, and then providing exercises according to the student's needs.
- I am new to tutoring but I aim to make English instruction and writing studies my life's work and am excited to help others discover the ways of Language Arts.
