About Theresa Mashangane
Hello! My name is Theresa, and I am a passionate and patient English tutor with experience supporting learners of all ages, from children to adults. I have worked as a tutor, teacher assistant, and language consultant, helping students improve their reading, writing, comprehension, and confidence in English. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate, a Reading Academy certificate, and have experience as a Reading Champion, which allows me to provide structured and effective support in literacy and language skills. I enjoy creating lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs, and I love seeing students gain confidence as they progress. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, learning about language development, and finding creative ways to make learning enjoyable. I am reliable, patient, and committed to helping learners achieve their goals, whether for school, work, or personal growth.

I focus on creating a calm and encouraging learning environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. Progress is steady and measurable, and I adjust each lesson to ensure learners feel supported, motivated, and confident in their English development.
