About Gus
I am an undergraduate student currently studying Computer Science at Swansea University, with 2 years experience tutoring Year 9-13 in Maths and Computer Science. I have an extensive knowledge of Java and VB.Net, and am able to offer tutoring in both these languages, as well as general Computer Science theory, such as Computer systems, data types, computational thinking as well as legal and ethical issues.

With computer science being an especially open ended subject, with a large focus on critical thinking and problem solving skills, I believe that a approach focus on independence is key, helping the student to gain a true understanding of concepts rather than simply rote memorisation.
