About Wagner

I am Wagner, born Deaf from Dominican Republic. I have always enjoyed helping others learn sign language to bridge the gap that exist between the hearing and deaf. I am certified in teaching sign language and began in 2005. In 2017, I began as a mentor to students enrolled in the interpreter program at the community college.

About the lesson

Some of the topics that are important in ASL (Sign Language) and that I focus on teaching are facial expressions, Deaf culture, movement, ABC's, numbers, palm orientation, location, and hand shape to name a few. I also help individuals whether it is your goal to become an interpreter or just would like to have conversations with a Deaf friend or family member.
