About Megan
I’ve been teaching for a long time, as a young adult, through my 20s and early 30s I was a college professor. I know what art schools want to see in a portfolio. I know how to make it fun and informative.
I am a lifelong student myself. Most recently I took a hand and machine tufting class - now I am hooked (pun intended).
I have an art studio in downtown LA in the fashion district - lessons can happen there or at your place ◡̈

I am patient and kind. I understand that art is something that can be very difficult to learn, but the process can be fun and insightful. I’ve taught almost every age group - I was a camp counselor in my youth and then taught college art classes from 2001-2012 before going on to be a professional artist.
I can teach almost any art technique or process - except ceramics and oil paint.
