About Mia
My name is Mia, I’m 15 years old and it is my dream to be a professor of English. I’ve tutored many students in the past three years and I have never had more fun. I like to help students gain a deeper understanding of English. To me English plays a very important role in my life and I believe it to be a very good skill to have throughout the years. I have never found it easy to express myself and my writing is where I began to find a way to embody my feelings. I have a lot fun when I teach and I find it enjoyable to share my knowledge with other people, I hope that my lessons will help inspire you to do great things as a student.

My first few lessons normally involve a few testing sessions, so that I can see what level my student is at- I of course can help them with specific tasks in which concerns have been raised by parents. I like for my student to be comfortable with the work I set, so I don’t like to give too much “homework”. I Like to use worksheets when appropriate but I also like to do book work as it seems to be my most adequate form of teaching. A normal session for me can vary - however they are usually an hour long. I can cater for students from the ages of 4-14 (preschoolers, kindergarteners-year 9)
