He's an experienced teacher who has helped traditional and nontraditional students succeed; he identifies and pursues specific needs and interests of a range of students. His approach is to meet students where they are and quickly ascend. This includes finding fast and simple ways to teach grammar (if needed) and to boost confidence through encouragement and rewrites. Doing multiple drafts is the fastest route to better writing and thinking.
