About Kenneth
I am a retired teacher and photographer, who has taught ESL English for 10 years in Mexico after receiving my TEFL certification there. I now live in Tacoma, Washington, but I still teach students by Zoom in Mexico, Chile, and Canada as well as volunteering at my local Immigrant Center, where we have people from Cambodia, Vietnam, Ukraine, Mexico, Thailand, and others. Some of my current Zoom students have been with me for as long as 8 years. I try to inspire confidence in my students, which is just as important as anything else in speaking English. I don't believe in using textbooks and develop lessons for each student's needs as we go along.

I have been teaching intermediate to advanced English to students from 8 to older adults. I have tons of self developed work sheets and try to create a unique class for each student. I try to pick up on your needs as I talk to you and as you attempt some of my exploratory worksheets in our first few classes.
In my ten years in Mexico I taught lawyers and business people as well as college age students and even younger kids who needed to go to the next level.
