About Jossie

I am a dedicated and passionate educator with experience teaching in the Foundation Phase. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed when they are supported in a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment. My teaching approach focuses on understanding each learner’s unique needs, building confidence, and encouraging curiosity and a love for learning. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors, caring for plants and animals, and staying active. I also value continuous learning and enjoy exploring new teaching strategies that help learners thrive academically and emotionally.

About the lesson

I am especially interested in inclusive education and supporting learners with diverse learning needs. I strive to create lessons that are engaging, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate, while fostering positive relationships with learners and their families.
Teaching Methodology
My teaching methodology is learner-centred and developmentally appropriate. I use a combination of structured routines, differentiated instruction, and positive behaviour support to create a safe and engaging learning environment. Lessons are designed to be interactive and meaningful, and guided practice to support different learning styles.

I place strong emphasis on:

Differentiated instruction
Positive reinforcement and behaviour management
Building foundational literacy and numeracy skills
