About Teodora
I hold a 1st class Honours Degree in Translation and Interpretation (English and German) from the University of Bucharest and a PGDE in German and French from the University of Sheffield. I have been private teaching a wide range of subjects since I was a student myself, and I have also taught in classroom settings. I am proud to say that I always manage to establish strong and lasting relationships with my students, who ultimately develop a love of learning and become very successful in their exams and careers.
I hold a DBS Certificate and I completed several safeguarding training courses.

I teach English as a foreign language from beginner to advanced (undergraduate) level. I can help you prepare for any English exam, be it for studying abroad or for career progression. I speak a few other languages, so I know how to teach by making correlations with other linguistic and grammatical structures. Besides strong subject knowledge, I have the necessary skills to suitably interact with students of all ages, due to my wide experience as a private tutor and classroom teacher. My lessons are tailored to the needs of the students, they are engaging and offer opportunities for in-depth vocabulary and grammar learning. I always provide a free introductory session, in which I assess the learner's needs and plan a strategic teaching plan for future lessons.
