About Adam
I've worked in a variety of schools, ensuring a wide variety of students meet their potential. Previous results show that students make excellent progress, reaching above and beyond their target grades - often by over a grade!
I've led KS3 curriculum development - deciding what to teach, how to teach it, when and how to assess it.
I've examined for a leading GCSE exam board, assessing hundreds of language paper responses.
I've studied and researched how teachers and examiners assess GCSE English Literature responses... Cambridge University gave that thesis a "Distinction", so I must've been on to something!

I don't like what works. I like what works best. My teaching approach is guided by research and evidence. I make extensive use of modelling, scaffolding and success criteria. After all, how can you meet your potential and be successful if you don't know what success looks like?
I make use of cumulative quizzes at the end of each session to cover previous content and current content - each session has clearly defined intentions.
Depending on your requirements, I am able to use either Google's Suite or Microsoft Teams. Either enable us to collaborate on documents at the same time and improve your answers so that you can meet your considerable potential.
